Sounds cool… right?    NOT.     At least not when we are talking about Mercury going Retro…
But what does that really mean?

When computers, phones and electronic devices seem to have a mind of their own, we look to the stars.  Just like when the Moon is Full, crazy things start to happen; same thing when Mercury appears to stop, change directions and reverse back, we call this Retrograde.  For some, our mental state is compromised and we sound like bumbling idiots trying to communicate and often times misunderstand what is trying to be shared with us.  Hence, creating mental chaos.  If we are starting to feel this way, and our refrigerator, computer, and/or phone is giving us grief… don’t worry, it’s not our fault….  Mercury is in Retrograde. 

Fortunately, this only happens three times year, but occasionally four. Which thankfully is less frequent than the average PMS tantrum, but if you combine the two…. LoOkOut!!!  Just kidding….  Thankfully, Mercury is not considered an emotional planet!!  Phew!!   If it were, the divorce rate would probably double!!  lol  Retrograde last about three weeks, however there are a couple of ‘shadow’ weeks that lead up to the event which can effect us gradually.  So if mid-July spawned feelings of uncertainty, it’s not our fault….  Mercury is in Retrograde.

Thankfully, not everyone is affected the same~ for some of us this is actually a positive occurrence.  Especially, if we started a great project during the last retrograde, now is a wonderful time to finish it. Missing loved ones?  Now is the perfect time to reconnect!  Unfortunately, if we are teachers, communicators or programmers… we are s.o.l.    But it’s not our fault… Mercury is in Retrograde.

ok…. my astrological sign is a Leo… which is effected fairly significantly with this Retro-movement.  I was always curious and slightly skeptical of the ‘retro wives-tale’, however, this post is taking FOREVER to type because my computer is sooo darn slow and not cooperating!!!  ugh.  Usually I love my laptop, and seldom have issues!! But it’s not my fault… yrucreM si ni edargorteR!!

I love to gaze up at the stars and admire their beauty, so I’ll forgive them… for now.
